nearbyAttrctionDescription Near the University of Arkansas, your are in Hog Country. Statistics show that the most visited Eureka Springs attractions are those natural attractions along the Arkansas Art Trail like Beaver Lake, the White River, the Kings River, the not-too-far-away Buffalo River – National Park Region and the surrounding Ozark National Forest. Other natural attractions include Eureka’s 65 springs, urban hiking trails, numerous caves, high bluffs and deep “hollers.” Man-made attractions are pretty popular too. The Great Passion Play is the country’s most attended outdoor drama. Its Christ of the Ozarks statue is the tallest in the northern hemisphere. Add to that the magic of Intrigue theater and family music shows; architectural wonders like Thorncrown Chapel, 1886 Crescent Hotel and 1905 Basin Park Hotel ; a visual arts community that is consistently ranked in the top 25 in the nation (plus less than an hour away the world famous Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art ); highest per capita quality restaurants of any community in Arkansas; festivals galore; and you’ve got a little community of 2,200 that grows to 25,000 most weekends of the year. If you have any questions concerning these attractions, please contact our concierge who would be happy to assist you.
